Meet at 11am at the car park at the start of Torduff Road, just off Bonaly Road as you cross over the bypass. You can also get here on the no.10 bus. https://lothianbuses.co.uk/timetables-and-maps/timetables/10
From the start point it will take around 45 mins to the top of Capelaw then approximately 40 mins back to car park.
The ground may be boggy/muddy in parts so pease wear suitable shoes, bring a cagoule, snacks and water bottle.
Please note – Children must be accompanied by their parent/carer. You are fully responsible for your own & your children’s wellbeing.

Dates for Harbour, Castlelaw and West Kip will be scheduled between Feb – June 2018 depending on the weather and availability.
How this came about – Last year you may recall the school encouraged the pupils to drag their parents/carers up their house hill for a walk, and to earn some house points in the process. Very successful it was too. This year, the Parent Community thought that it might be a great idea to go a step further and arrange some dates for a group walk where everyone can take part, climb a hill, get to know a few faces, have some fun, earn some house points, etc. This time, you don’t need to stick to your own house hill – feel free to come and climb any of them, or indeed ALL of them! The school will come up with more details on how the house points rewards will work.
